Massage

There are several types of massage. Consult with our massage therapist to see which one is best suited for you.

Swedish Massage
Refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

Reflexology
Is a gentle form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes to the hands. It is based on the belief that there are reflex areas on the feet and hands corresponding to all the parts of the body including major organs. It is believed that applying pressure to specific areas on the feet, hands and ears can affect internal organs and body systems, and therefore promote good health.

Stone Massage
Involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage. The direct heat relaxes the muscles, allowing manipulation of a greater intensity than with a regular massage. The warm stones expand the blood vessels pushing blood and unwanted wastes materials through the body.

Myofascial Release Therapy
Is a gentle blend of stretching and massage. It uses hands-on manipulation of the entire body to promote healing and relieve pain. People with longstanding back pain, fibromyalgia, recurring headaches, sport injuries, and a host of additional complaints are all said to benefit from this technique.

Prenatal Massage
is a therapeutic bodywork which focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of the childbirth experience.

Chair massage
To relax muscles while you wait, when your finished, or anytime.
